Welcome to the www.sonnysneckbones.com for Sonny's Neck Bones fans. While we do want you to make yourself at home, we also want to respect and protect the members of our community. So please don’t post materials that:
It all started with a man named Edward McCree Sr., aka "Sonny" or "Uncle Sonny" from 8mile Township in Detroit, MI. His name will forever live on through his baby daughter, Michlele and her dream of Sonny's Neck Bones Home of the Neck Bone Grilled Cheese
Amid the economic gloom of Covid — recession, unemployment, and business failures. In fact, a crisis also creates entrepreneurial opportunities. When there is more uncertainty, there is more reward.
While facing many uncertainties during this time, husband and wife team, Damon Gough (Project Manager & Musician) and Michele Gough (licensed Chef) decided a career in the corporate world was no longer for them, they decided to fill that gap.
One day after having neck bones for dinner the night before, wondering what to do with all the left over neck bones, Damon decided to have a grilled cheese sandwich with the neck bone meat added. Michele "Chef Gough" decided to take her husbands weird (hood) idea and improve upon it... using an Italian bread and a blend of four gourmet cheeses all topped off with "The Game Changer" a homemade signature dipping sauce. Simply delicious!
Their idea was a business that would create generational wealth for their children and generations to come.
And so, in March, Sonny's Neck Bones was born — just as the Covid-19 pandemic emptied out offices.
